Well sort of, I find this on the Deaky.com and it was taken last year. I find it on Deaky Weekly the updated for today. He got old. link |
Daz85 15.01.2005 12:12 |
The site says: Here is a big hot stuff from Emilio in Spain (thanks a lot, Emilio!) : A few days ago, i bought the spanish edition of Rolling Stone magazine and i found that pic of John in Lanzarote taken from a spanish band -not very famous- called Quebec. That's what they said about the pic: "Hi, we're the band Quebec and for 19 months we have been doing over 500 gigs tributing The Beatles. The last gig in Lanzarote, in may 2004, we went to play at Harley Rock and we saw, sitting here without anyone recognising him, Queen's John Deacon. He told us he hasn't played anymore the bass since the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, he only meets sometimes some friends and plays the drums a little time". THE DRUMS?! :-O |
Bohardy 15.01.2005 12:57 |
What an unfortunate loss of hair. And he looks like he's porked out a bit. |
rachael mae. 15.01.2005 13:03 |
OOh he looks kinda old. |
StarShine 15.01.2005 13:13 |
Not only that of him getting old and hair loss, we know what he looks like today. |
Scirocco1977 15.01.2005 14:15 |
The pic is so small... is it really him? I would not have guessed that it is hadn't somebody told me so. Sorry for being sceptical. |
Peta 15.01.2005 14:24 |
John is the youngest and he looks the oldest from members of Queen. |
StarShine 15.01.2005 14:26 |
When I first saw the pic I also too thought it wasn't him. Yes he is the youngest and the oldest looking. He got old qiucker in the 80's. That's what I think. |
Scirocco1977 15.01.2005 14:27 |
Freddie's most probably not looking young either... But yeah, you are right. But he was responsible for all the money. Hence his loss of hair (or is it the musical, or the tour, or still the Robbie Williams collaboration? |
gabriel79 15.01.2005 14:47 |
i told abut this pic a week ago. anyway he has not lost his hair8the pic in the magazine is bigger and you can see that he still gots hair) |
Soul Brother 15.01.2005 15:52 |
You've got to remember that we don't see very many pictures of John in 'realtime' as it were so obviously he is going to look older than when he was last seen. It's kind of like if someone looses a lot of weight but you see them every day they don't appear any different.......like Brian and Roger who we see regularly! Leave Deacky alone to grow old gracefully and nuzzle his nose in some Brazillian tart's jugs - he deserves it and Freddie would approve! |

Holy crap!! He looks Old!! Thanks for the pic! |
flash00 15.01.2005 16:55 |
cool pic if it is john, if you save the pic then enlarge the pic, his face doesnt look old what so ever! i think were just concentrating on the gray and it dont look baldy, the papers (sun) said last year he was spotted outside the wwry musical in london!no pic tho, so i think john still has queen at heart deep down. also his pic was in the paper i think last year or b4, where he was linked with that lap dancer and it was a big story, and he looked same o'l john grinning away lol. |

Ray D O'Gaga 15.01.2005 18:53 |
Assuming there's hair on top of his head that is short and dark enough to disappear into the dark background in a small low-res pic, I think Deaky looks terrific for a guy his age. I'm just sorry he's apparently serious about the whole retirement thing, although I wish him well. |

Gunpowder Gelatine 15.01.2005 22:24 |
I don't think he looks bad at all for 53. As for the hair loss, it just proves that it's only Brian that can keep the same hairstyle for thirty years! |
killerxqueen 15.01.2005 22:56 |
He seemed to be balding in '89... |
foxxy_moron 16.01.2005 00:18 |

Just can't understand how you all can speculate on such a little pic... In my opinion he's doing fine and if you think he's getting very old... maybe you never carefully look at Brian and Roger's faces: they really show their age!! Leave dear Deaky alone, I'm sure he's doing great in the shadows, doing what he likes... I'm glad to see him in some way, though, love him: can we get a larger scan of that picture? cheers! |

Mr Magoo?? |
rasavi 17.01.2005 09:42 |
The truth is I think it does not matter much how he looks. The most important for me is to know if he is gonna play in the tour. But still, too much drinking&smoking is not good for health. |
bassist08 17.01.2005 11:00 |
Wow. Same ol' John!!! I still love him. He's like wine, he just gets better with age!! LONG LIVE DEAKY!!! FOREEEEVVEEERR! |
Anto1 17.01.2005 15:08 |
Thats funny, I was in Lanzarotte in May. We drank in Scotties Bar a couple of nights and this place beside it (cant remember the name) played various Queen concerts on the big screen all night. In fact I think it was a restaraunt!!! BTW, Scotties bar fuckin rocks!!:-) |
redyfredy01 17.01.2005 20:34 |
OMG!!!! that was the worst picture i have ever seen of him!!!! my gosh he was the youngest one out of all of them, but he sure did age quickly huh? |
Deacons 1st Choice 17.01.2005 21:00 |
It's due to all those cigarettes he smoked.... Scientifically proven way to add age onto you like nothing...and grey your hair faster then normal. John looks fine...always thought he looked sharp in the silver... |
Sicmot 18.01.2005 08:56 |
John should immediately start using anti-hairloss medication like Rogaine and Propecia.. it's still not too late to get at least some of his lost hair back if he feels it insecure to trust on hair surgery.. Im sure this sudden loss of his trademarkably thick hair-do has diminished his self-esteem.. I hope john reads this typical article.. |
Scirocco1977 18.01.2005 09:25 |
SO you are saying John won't participate the tour because he is bald? Damn, why can't he borrow BRian's wig? |
