Hello everybody ;) feelin' good? As I'm in an holiday mood today I feel like I wanna share something very special with all of you, 'cause you deserve it (I cannot thank enough this community which has been so helpful and generous over the years). This is my restoration and enhancement attempt on the infamous Rock In Rio first night (both video and audio). I think, personally, that it is a great improvement indeed and I'm curious of your feedback honestly ;) Original material coming from here: link I started with video quality as bad as C and a C- to B- audio (it goes slightly better during mid concert 'till the end), now I think we have something like video audio/video B+. Now enough with me talking/writing just enjoy the show and download it as long it's still available on WeTransfer (1 week left). Then if you like it, of course, feel free to make a torrent out of it and share it here ;) Files are 2gb each and it is a self-extracting archive (just place all files downloaded in the same directory and lunch the first one to extract the video file). Quality information and thubnails preview in the following post, enjoy and HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYBODY! Thanks! Is the first link supposed to be an .exe file? :) -Chin |

Chinwonder2 wrote: Thanks! Is the first link supposed to be an .exe file? :) -ChinYes 'cause is a self-extracting .rar archive ;) open it after downloading all files in the same folder and it extracts automatically the file |

Ahh ok :) |

Uhhhhh .rar files can be self-extracting too. Sorry, but I'm not downloading, and running, an executable from Queenzone. Why is it pillarboxed in a 16:9 video? Why 720p? What exactly did you do to the audio/video??? |

What exactly did you do to the audio/video???Exe is tested with Avast Premiere (just updated today) but anyway if you don't trust me I hope a torrent will be uploaded as soon as possible (I can't cause my ADSL connection isn't so great and I haven't so much time to seed enough). Is a 16:9 720p video 'cause was the best export option in Adobe Premiere for it. I removed video noise and applied color/brightness filters and other stuff to make it look better. Also audio was EQ processed and cleaned of all noise. I enhanced also the vocals to make it sounds more crisp. |

Chin Wonder already did an excellent job with the full Rio. At least he is smart enough to keep it in the original 4:3. If you don’t , heads start getting big. Perhaps that’s what you do with old videos of your penis. |

Well, Freddie's bell end or whatever you're called. If you don't like his share, just shut up. Please. |
Raffy 21.12.2017 17:39 |
No distortion whatsoever, picture remains in 4:3 but the screen is in 16:9. The export in 720p 60fps was available only with this option in my video editing software. |

Exported in NTSC 720 'cause was the only way to obtain 60fps... If I try to export in PAL with 4:3 1440x1080 it gives me max 25fps and with 720 max 50fps so I considered to export it as NTSC 720 60fps. Anybody, anyway, tried to at least download it and see if it's worth it or not? |
Nitroboy 22.12.2017 13:42 |
In that case you should have chosen 50fps, since your source was PAL. And if you used Adobe Premiere, I'm fairly sure it would have options for the various render settings - allowing you to customize it. I've never used it myself, so I might be wrong. |
Ale_Pisa 22.12.2017 23:03 |
thank you |

yeah, there's enough shit-sucking trolls on this site to last us a lifetime, we don't need you adding to the garbage |
Raffy 23.12.2017 11:14 |
I take all the technical comments as a good advise for next projects thanks for that guys ;) For those who would like to enjoy my upload you're welcome, hope you like it :) Export settings aside I think it at least deserves a view/listen 'cause for me is a major upgrade to the original. |
brians wig 23.12.2017 11:55 |
If you still have the project file, would it be possible to export it as PAL 25fps or 50fps please? Obviously by exporting from PAL to NTSC, you're making new frames up each second and this adds smears to movement. |
Nitroboy 23.12.2017 13:39 |
How exactly did you clean the video? |
Viper 23.12.2017 14:58 |

Raffy wrote: Exported in NTSC 720 'cause was the only way to obtain 60fps....I genuinely don't understand why 60fps is desirable in this circumstance. You have 25 frames of source material, and can't add anything. How can the output be anything other than every frame shown twice (approx.)? |
