Hi again.
Looking through my old videotapes, I've encountered an odd version of Earls Court '77 video - with time counter. This time I kindly want you, experts, to decide whether this alternate source has better audio compared to well-known versions in circulation?
Here's a snippet from the show ("Killer Queen" track): link
And here's a screenshot to give you the idea, how this alternate source looks like.
i think sniville remastered edition and then pittrek's remaster of snivlle's version are the 2 best versions of earls court '77. pittrek's version is the best as far as i know.

Can't hurt to have another copy as this is obviously an alternate source to the fantastic Snivlle/Pittrek version, which will only ever be bettered by an official release.
Got anything from S.America 1981 in that old box of yours? :P
I appreciate your efforts antiden.
Did you record this at a convention, and if so what year?
Also, if it was recorded at a convention was a HI FI VHS recorder used?

The footage shared by MERQRY comes from a documentary (the 2005 ANATO bonus disc ?)
BINGO! I was only kidding. :-D
But in fact, that 39 snippet is on the first disc, in the intro, not in the bonus disc.
I mixed it with the sound from the bonus disc of the remastered ANATO, 2011.
Anyway the footage from earls on that documentary is in pretty good shape. So, quality i guess is not the problem on that one (the camera angles maybe are... stranges)

Barry, it's one of those tapes which I obtained through trading many years ago (along with 'Hyde Park' show shared in another thread).
Of course, it means that there're lower generation copies in someone's possession. But will they be shared?? I don't know...
After several requests I decided to share this version of EARLS COURT (with time counter).
DVD1: link
DVD2: link
P.S. Moonie, I'm expecting you taking some beer or wine or even vodka and tasting my version of great Earls Court gig on your big LCD TV :))
P.P.S. BETA215, you should better buy a new hard drive ;)
He he..Cheers Antiden. You're a good egg.. And your timings great..I'm half way down a bottle of wine as we speak. I'll give it a watch and report back..

Well, I watched this and it definately passes the beer goggles test..
Seriously, its pretty decent. At least as good as the second gen copy that was used for the Sniville remaster.. Maybe even slightly better. Well worth a download if you haven't seen that version. Cheers Antiden.
Thanks for the share!
I wouldn't say it's any better than the pre-Sniville version, perhaps slightly worse, plus it has a timecode.
But still, a nice video to add to my collection :)
