I cut together HQ bits from Rio first night shown in this documentary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4uUNOJ2iTM . Removed all the interview scenes, only live footage here. Also, I didn't crop off the letters visible from the watermark ("TI" & "W" from "MULTI SHOW") but removed them other way, so that they're not distracting.
Unfortunately there's like 1 second of footage missing at the beginning. That is because I used video file that Beta215 cut and uploaded here. I didn't realise anything was missing when I was making this, only noticed it afterwards when I took a peak at the youtube video once more.
Anyway, since it was uploaded on youtube in 60 fps, I didn't change that since I don't know how to detect frame dups and remove them accurately thus making it into a proper 25 fps video that surely was the original source. I decided against converting it to PAL because it still leaves some dups and removes some unique frames instead. Until I find a way or understand how to remove dups or blended frames, I will leave the frame rate as is.
I also made it smaller size. It doesn't change the quality that much though. https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/9fe4/ydnas0wix7bhas47g.jpg" border="0" alt="Simple, Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire" /> https://mega.co.nz/#!KF0RGYgR!WxrCPEt_D24sWtN0hRXrFt_FoNhkDTrFNcWm4NfLrz0 .
Did you check the original bitrate? Also, the file size would have been about 3x smaller of I had converted it to 25 Fps. I always encode my videos in about 3000-4000 bitrate, that is, CRF = 16. Since I applied a couple of filters to reduce compression artifacts, small bitrate like the youtube uploads have would be pointless since it would introduce more comression artifacts that I tried to reduce in first place. Simple math.
About your PM, can't promise anything. Will take a look tomorrow.
Wonderful!
FM was on fire during that first Rio show. It's such an underrated performance. Totally epic with FM being the larger than life performer he could be at his best days...
Excellent!
"Deacon makes quite a little jump at :52."
Yeah what song is that? The audio is still Under Pressure but Freddie has his jacket back on. I assume Tear It Up? Deacon is becoming the real hero in Queen :)

Would you like to revisit this short footage, since I think you understanded how to remove dups (according to your last big remaster St. Paul)? If it don't bothers you.
Well, I needed to remove them from St Paul footage in order to increase the frame rate to 29.970. But for this video all that would achieve is smaller file size. I think it would look about the same. Got a couple of other videos to do yet anyway :)
