Endeavoring to share the set list for this show, little by littlle, as it happens... be patient with me, I'll be busy screaming out loud, crying, utterly frought with joy! ;-) |

3. CLTCL. BTW, so far, performance completely solid, great sound quality, firing on all cylinders. Adam has flubbed a (small) lyric or two, but who am I to nitpick. :-) |
GonnaUseMyPrisoners 16.06.2014 20:22 |
Oh. MY. GOD... 4. Love Kills (acoustic) |
winterspelt 16.06.2014 20:23 |
Brian used a Red Special with F hole... And they are playing a rock version of Love Kills, WTF! |
GonnaUseMyPrisoners 16.06.2014 20:27 |
(That #4 was FLAWLESS!!!!!!) 5. FBG |
GonnaUseMyPrisoners 16.06.2014 20:34 |
Oh yes, a correction, #4 didn't remain acoustic... it rocked! 6. Under Pressure |
winterspelt 16.06.2014 20:35 |
I like the way Roger and Adam are singing it, Roger singing certain parts of under pressure, sounds interesting! |

Very short set, some new ideas... Im unable to provide an opinion until the first complete show. So far, the fact that they played Love Kills make me think there will be some new songs in the future shows. |
brians wig 16.06.2014 20:53 |
That was Awesome! Well worth stopping up until 3am to watch it. Lambert has obviously learnt how to sing as I can't fault him at all. Far better than those early performances with Queen a few years ago... Brian rocked and proved he still CAN play guitar like he used to. They'd better tour England when they've done abroad.... |
notimeforlosers 16.06.2014 20:54 |
Why so short? =( Gotta confess, apart from a little excess, Adam sounded good. Love Kills was a big surprise and the version was very beautiful. Brian and Roger playing brilliantly. I'm happy I have watched. Such a shame I couldn't make to the US to see the proper gigs. |

They appear to be repearting it as an encore performance for all you gluttons (like me) who can NOT get enough!!! |
GonnaUseMyPrisoners 16.06.2014 21:01 |
Roger: "I heard the word DIVA. It's what we DO!!!" LMFAO |
winterspelt 16.06.2014 21:35 |
I didnt liked their We Are the Champions version, it does had all those excesses from Adam. As for the rest of the show, I can hear something nice going on. Im pretty sure towards the middle of the tour the whole band will be perfect! I liked the Red Special with the F hole but I couldnt hear a difference in sound... Could it be that the F hole was painted instead of carved in the wood? |

AL refered to "Love Kills" as a new song, so will definately be on the new album. Also in the interview Brian "Quashed" the idea that this tour will be the last. Roll on Europe.... |

Roll on Europe....I loved it then ('84?), and I liked this new version, so I hope it is on the new LP! And if they take a victory lap through the states again after the new LP is released, I say bring it on! I'd go again, and again, and again! |
winterspelt 17.06.2014 01:12 |
Brian has been posting some nice comments about the new Love Kills version on Twitter. I think we will hear this new version a lot in the new tour! |
andyb1968 17.06.2014 02:31 |
Bodes really well for the tour, definitely think Love Kills will be on the album, and that could mean we will get to hear them play some other tracks off it, after all its good promotion, will they play Let me in your heart again I wonder ? |

I love the Love Kills arrangement; I so wanna hear the studio version of this and There Must Be More To Life Than This! I must say that whenever Queen 'reworked' any of their tracks live they were always really well and tastefully done; eg: Love of My Life moved from studio version with piano and layered vocals to simple acoustic guitar and one vocal In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited: changed on Magic tour to have a guitar intro and sole vocal verse rather than piano and full band WWRY changed to a fast paced, full band show opener Most Hot Space tracks 'beefed' up with guitars A Kind of Magic changed from studio pop track to flowing blues rock based live favourite |
pittrek 17.06.2014 05:14 |
Their version of Love Kills is absolutely horrible. Boring, boring, boring. I'm watching a recording of it and I'm really trying not to fall asleep |

Alright, I suffered through the whole thing and finally a good performance - Under Pressure. Finally something, what wasn't dumb and boring, but actually entertaining. Now - only if somebody would slap Adam every single time he does his "heeeeeeeeeey aaaaaaaaaaah" bullshit with his irritating high voice |
brunogorski 17.06.2014 06:49 |
Hope they come to Brazil. I'll sell my car. And house. And buy tickets. |

brunogorski, the brazilian real estate market will have to deal with our houses on sale!!! :) Abraço, Ogre- |

Can't wait to see what the full set list looks like, and how it evolves thru the tour. Sounds from Brian's comments that the tour will hit Europe this Winter, ideal timing to launch the Album. My god its just like the good old days Album & Tour :-) |

Could it be that the F hole was painted instead of carved in the wood? The guitar with the F hole is a Guyton RS. Yes it is hollow and the F hole is a genuine feature. A couple of other things, it has a curved maple top and no tremelo. When the guitar was first built it had no scratch plate and was fitted with two pickups. BM had it re worked before this tour. Up close this guitar has a stunning look and finish. The fact it's hollow bodied is no different to BM's own guitar, and in his original plans for the red special an F hole was planned though never cut. |

I never imagined that in 2014 we would still be talking about a tour and album by Queen. Great year for the fans. |

Just wondering if the pre-recorded interview was filmed in Chicago? The tour stage/set in the background looked awesome.. |

I know that the red special is hollow body, but I couldnt see if the F Hole was real or not cause the live stream doesnt showed any close up. Thanks for the info, I didnt knew about the scratch plate and the pick ups! And yes, the guitar looks beautiful! |

Guess I'm in the minority again. ... The band sounded pretty good! The tempos weren't off. .. but Adam sounded more boring than the laziest jaded guy at a band rehearsal (I've heard it before) He's got a LOT to learn about showmanship. Maybe he'll never get it. Technically hits the notes but his performance was absolutely droning and phoned - in. The only time he seemed to pick up the pace was with Love Kills. The BAND rocked on FBG and Under Pressure, DSMN was okay. But it's embarrassing hearing him sing WWRY.... it's like uninterested half assed karaoke |

Who cares, Queen died 23 years ago...without Freddie and John it's not Queen. |
