Enjoy my awesome Queen fans! This is not the final sound quality though... someone down the line is remastering it.
Thanks to gregsynth for sharing this with me. I do not deserve any credit for finding this recording... I'm just giving you all a sneak preview of what will be released in November.

Thanks for sharing. Truly exciting news. At last..I always thought that there must be an audience recording out there somewhere. Zep's Earls Court shows have quite a few audience sources..You would think at least one of the tapers would also have recorded Queen.

I attempted to do it with Bohemian Rhapsody but it didn't turn out that well. Besides from having to slow down the audience recording so it was in synch with the soundboard, I don't know if the quality of the audience recording is good enough for a matrix. It didn't seem to sound right even when they were synched up perfectly; the quality of the audience recording seemed to spoil the quality of the soundboard.
But when it is remastered I guess we could give it a try!
Well, why are you people so excited about this audience source? We already have the soundboard and the video footage, aren't you sick of this concert?. I wish this recording were from the 2nd night :(
Well personally, I think its great that a previously unknown audience source has popped up after all this time..Shame the quality isn't really up to a matrix with the video feed, which is very dry & lacking ambience/Audience..It would really benefit from that. But like I say, great that audience sources from 30 years ago are still popping up..Wonder what'll be next?

Surely it's not the best thing to pop up but it can only help us! Now we can find out if Freddie's mic really died throughout the show or if it was just in the video feed. Indeed it would be nicer for it to be from the second night but this is all that's available right now.
