This is the best known copy of the Hamburg audience tape, including a couple of rare tidbits played by Freddie. The tape runs for a few minutes after God Save The Queen.

I must say that I think I have a better version than this one. I ignore if it is the hub version but it has a better high end than the 1st gen (which I highly doubt if it is genuine as mine is clearly not a master recording). I didn't listen to my whole recording but it is slightly less complete as God Save The Queen fades out slightly before the end. Here are three tracks from my cdrs:
Of course, it would need some volume adjustment but I really think the 1st gen sounds muffled compared to this one.
Do you think it sounds better than the 1st that was shared here? Is it the hub version? Do you want me to share it?
Thanks for posting the samples. You're right, the EQ on yours is a bit more focused on the high end. But there's more tape hiss, and it isn't any more clear. Since it's an unconfirmed gen copy, my verdict is it's an inferior copy. I've corrected the speed of both, so have a listen to the comparison... mine's first, followed by yours: link
Listen to the clarity of the hi-hat at the beginning of Under Pressure on both..
Your thoughts.. ?

They say the file is not available. :/ Could you please repost it? :D
I presume you mean Bob's comparison link, not the files themselves. The link does work but I find megaupload to be less than reliable. Here is the link with mediafire - maybe you'll have more luck with this one : link 82 comparison.flac
OK, you're right, there's not so much difference. Hostly, I think it is just a question of taste. I'm just surprised that mine has some much high end and a 1st gen recording does not. Maybe the transfer was not optimal. For example, the vocals are in my opinion clearer on the unconfirmed version. Well, honestly, I think I prefer the unconfirmed version. Question of taste... :P
The photographer, Charles Robinson, is a wonderful fellow, and happily sent them all along. They're definitely amongst the best pictures ever taken of the band.
