Hi Just got this one from Dime: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=268903 Sharekey: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=a6969177a2cd4b363b0405de80951135cd8d4eba11b50c51 Info from taper/sharer: another genuine weizman master - 25 YEARS AGO I did a couple of analogue trades back in the day and somehow the recording got into the hands of some bootleggers who manufactured a 3LP set named DYNASTY from it. So this is the master for DYNASTY - first transfer to digital from the original master cassettes. Includes "Is This The World We Created?" and "Love Of My Life" which were omitted from the 3LP set (maybe the bootleggers left them out because both tracks are incomplete on the master). Here you'll get two versions: 1) Only the tracks which come from the master cassettes. That means "Is This The World We Created?" and "Love Of My Life" are incomplete. Simply use tracks 01 to 16 from the folder "CD1" for CD-burning. 2) If you want to have the complete show use tracks 01 to 14, 15a and 16a from the folder "CD1" for CD-burning. I patched the missing parts from an alternate recording of the show (1st gen) using Soundforge 9.0d for the crossfades. (Don't ask me for the alternate source - I only got these two songs from it.) QUEEN Stuttgart (GER) Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle 1984-09-27 Lineage: Aiwa CM30 > Aiwa HS-F1 > Compact Cassettes (2 x TDK SA C90) Cassette master > Aiwa HS-F1 > Zoom H2 > SD-Card Reader > harddisc > Soundforge 9.0d (track splitting, fades) > TLH (flac level 8, sb aligned) Setlist: Disc 1 01. Machines (Tape) 02. Tear It Up 03. Tie Your Mother Down 04. Under Pressure 05. Somebody To Love 06. Killer Queen 07. Seven Seas Of Rhye 08. Keep Yourself Alive 09. Liar 10. Vocal Improvisation 11. It's A Hard Life 12. Mustapha (tease) 13. Dragon Attack 14. Now I'm Here 15. Is This The World We Created?* 16. Love Of My Life* Disc 2 01. Stone Cold Crazy 02. Great King Rat 03. Keyboard Solo 04. Guitar Solo 05. Brighton Rock (Reprise) 06. Another One Bites The Dust 07. Hammer To Fall 08. Crazy Little Thing Called Love 09. Saturday Night's All Right For Fighting 10. Bohemian Rhapsody 11. Radio Ga Ga 12. 13. I Want To Break Free 14. Jailhouse Rock 15. 16. We Will Rock You 17. We Are The Champions 18. God Save The Queen * cut on the master - see notes above. As Always: Enjoy, trade freely, don't mp3. Please do not alter the fileset if you're uploading to another tracker! I have never heard anything about an alternate source of this show. But my old copy is a compilation of the Dynasty bootleg and the video soundtrack of LOML and ITTWWC. Is it the same for this? |
aristide1 30.09.2009 10:54 |
Making available the mastertape is great. However, you must admit the transfer combo (original Aiwa recorder and Zoom digital recorder) is a bit odd. |
tcc 30.09.2009 10:59 |
Thank you very much. The sound is very clear. It has a very long Dragon Attack. |

Is it the same for this? Definitely not. It's a third source he uses. Perhaps it was a friend of his who taped the show from another part of the hall.. ? There's always more out there than we think exists. This is source material, so be sure to grab it. |

Thanks for this - it'll be really interesting to compare the bootleg with it's originating master - see what the label did to it! |

Thanks for this - it'll be really interesting to compare the bootleg with it's originating master - see what the label did to it! For starters, their copy was a first or second gen tape. The master is so much better... the clarity and the EQ are outstanding in comparison. |

I just finished listening to this show and it sounds great Per! thanks so much for sharing it! I was thinking to do some artwork for it... I've made a sample for the front cover, just let me know people if you like it, I went for a "trendier" theme... tell me if should I go on with it or go for a more "classic" look: ">link |
PBB 09.10.2009 02:52 |

PNG is lossless. |

Alex - a quick question - which software would you recommend for printing the booklets ? I've asked this many times but never received a satisfying response. I have many programs which can print 1 page booklets, but I want to print the stuff you and Vali share here |

In my case, I prepare the artwork to be printed in Corel Draw, an A3 sheet (297 mm x 420 mm), there you can put the 3 pages booklet along with a front and a back cover for example, and then I take the Corel file inside a pendrive to a printing shop, they do the print (laser) on illustration paper, one side bright, the other side mate, of course the printing is done over the bright side, the result is an almost professional printing, close to a manufactured release, in terms of visual quality and paper weight. If you don't have a printer that might support A3 sheets, then you'll have to use my "method" ;-) |
