Hello,
since my professional life is at least slightly stabilized,
This time it's the year 1977 - and it's pretty big this time.
1977-05-13 Arena, Seattle, USA (vlatko's remaster) Probably the second most bootleged concert ever (first is of course Hammersmith Odeon 1975). This is a rare complete compilation & remaster done by Queenzone user "vlatko". Queen in Arena, Seattle, Washington, USA March 13, 1977 Lineage: ? > FLAC > WAV > Audacity (speed correction, editing) > CD Wave Editor (editing) > Trader's Little Helper (SBEs correction) > ClickRepair (clicks and crackles removal) > FLAC (Frontend) level 8 Quality VG+/Ex- originally shared by ups in January 2007 remastered by vlatko CD1 01 Ogre Battle 5:08 02 White Queen 5:31 03 Somebody To Love 4:54 04 Killer Queen 2:02 05 The Millionaire Waltz 3:06 06 You're My Best Friend 2:00 07 Bring Back That Leroy Brown 1:09 08 Brighton Rock 12:23 09 '39 3:35 10 You Take My Breath Away 2:54 CD2 01 White Man 4:58 02 The Prophet's Song 4:44 03 Bohemian Rhapsody 5:08 04 Liar 8:46 05 In The Lap Of The Gods... revisited 3:13 06 Now I'm Here 4:35 07 Big Spender 1:25 08 Jailhouse Rock 5:32 09 Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting 2:34 10 Stupid Cupid - Be Bop A Lula - Jailhouse Rock (reprise) 1:11 Keep lossless files lossless, unless it's for your own use. This share is a direct copy of the famous "Invite You To A Night At The Warehouse" LP. However the tracks are in a different order then they were actually played. Freddie: "Thank you. And maybe next time we will bring back an orchestra, bring with us an orchestra, what you think? Costs more money. I really feel like been evil tonight." He clenches his fist while he says this. "Ok, we have two songs now for you, two songs rolled into one. They're both written by Brian. I must tell you that every night that we've done the song, these two songs on the tour, they seem to getting better every night, depending on the practice of course. But it really depends on the audience as well. Now, you've been a bit cool and sophisticated up to now, but get your asses going, ok? We can all be nice and cool, but I mean you've got to give out some time. So this a song, it starts off with White Man." Brian: "Ok, we'd like to bring back some more memories for you now, because we're getting old, see. We'd like to bring back some stuff which we did for Sheer Heart Attack, and the first thing... thank you... the first thing we're gonna do is In The Lap Of The Gods... Revisited."And now FINALLY the links : and again, rapidcats link link link link link link link link -------------------------------------------------- 1977-06-07 Earls Court, London, UK -------------------------------------------------- Unfortunately all we have from this second night is Killer Queen and the Rock'n'Roll medley. Since Killer Queen is an officially released product, I am putting here only the medley. link -------------------------------------------------- 1977-10-06 New London Theatre Centre, London, UK -------------------------------------------------- This is a very famous concert, it's from the We Are The Champions video shoot. After years of having it in barely listenable quality SirGH created a compilation of the best available sources and decided to share it with us. This is the re-upload to mediafire. Queen London, UK New London Theatre Centre October 6, 1977 This is a compilation of two copies of the same audience tape of the famous We Are The Champions video shoot and short concert, both lossless - one being "Champions Shoot" on the Wardour label, and the other being a much higher generation tape. Much of the WATC video shoot is missing on the Wardour version, so I spliced in all the missing parts from the inferior version. Still, two parts are missing: The initial playing of WATC (before they started filming) cuts out after a few seconds, and the third video take of the song is missing as well. The Wardour version's pitch was 1/3 of a semitone too fast, so I adjusted it to make the two versions run at the same speed. Here's the track listing: 1. Bob Harris' speech, first listen to WATC (cut) 2. Queen introduction, WATC video shoot 1 3. WATC video shoot 2 4. Speech before WATC video shoot 3 (cut at 0:44), WATC video shoot 4 5. Tie Your Mother Down 6. Keep Yourself Alive 7. Somebody To Love 8. White Man 9. The Prophet's Song 10. Liar 11. Bohemian Rhapsody (until end of guitar solo) 12. Now I'm Here 13. Jailhouse Rock 14. See What A Fool I've Been Do NOT convert this recording to mp3 or any other lossy format, unless it's for your own use. This recording is the one that should spread because it's most complete, lossless, and the best quality. Enjoy!Links (mediafire) link. |

Yankovic wrote: OMG! Rapidshare is a nightmare for anyone who don't want to pay. I've chosen the lesser of 2 evils. |
daffy_the_duck 29.05.2008 05:47 |
Marvellous post Pittrek, like past 4 years! You're right, mediafire, which works really good at the beginning and for free, begin to be like a pain in the ass. Rapidshare, despite all its inconvenience is much reliable. Some question, Cygnus shared in QZ a flac version of Houston with a little cut on '39 from VHS. I'd like to know if your version is the same or another, means better, version. |
pittrek 29.05.2008 05:51 |
My old mp3 version of Houston had a serious cut during '39, this lossless version has the complete song |
Queenrockyou 29.05.2008 07:04 |
Incredible.... Thanks !!! 1977 was one of the best years for Queen live I think. Houston is excellent, the Champions Shoot is a great glimpse from the past, a nice gesture from the band, Earls Court is very nice too. The band was finally getting rewarded for all the countless efforts in the past, touring until being totally exhausted, playing two gigs a day and so on. They now had some very good songs, a strong following was coming up, and they kept thinking their gigs as a real entertainment for everybody coming to see us. They were simply on their way to the top of the top of the top. It's nice hearing shows from this period, they were still really great, one of their best 70's period for me. So special thanks for Pittrek, and I can understand what a hard choice it has been ! I think Vali will need some time before he would create all the suiting artworks... Competition is open, will Vali be able to follow the rhythm of Pittrek's shares ? As far as 1978 is concerned, maybe some of the first News Of The World European tour too, maybe the very first stockholm, or Copenhagen, could be added. What about Paris 23th April ? Very nice sound for this one, it should be one of the best of the tour. For The Jazz Tour, Montreal is an absolute choice. I will let you choose the other ones, as I can't clearly remember how sounded all these recordings. Of course, if someone wants to share the Landover 06th November 1978, feel free !! Who knows... Many thanks once again dear Pittrek ! Regards, Olivier, France. |

I uploaded to mediafire Earls Court and Copenhagen to help Pittrek out in his wonderful project and, of course, to help you all, so that you have as many alternative download websites as possible, ok? I hope it makes the download faster. All the credit goes to Pittrek and to the uploaders and tapers. I'm just carrying on the message, and am very glad to do so. :-)) Now, I uploaded to mediafire the concert at Apollo, Glasgow, 1977, 05, 30. I hope it'll be useful and helpful. So, as of now, he have Earls Court, Copenhagen and Glasgow 1977 both in rapidshare and mediafire. Best of all, all in the same thread, well organized by Pittrek and with a lot of helpful info. Hi, folks! The mediafire links to the concert at the Arena, in Seattle, 13th march, beautifully remastered by user "vlatko", who unfortunatelly disappeared! Vlatko, please e-mail me - you see, a beautiful, cute girl asking you to e-mail her in public. Now, that's enough to boost anyone's ego! :-)))))) Thanks again to Pittrek, of course. Pittrek's project is a huge success - being creative, having good ideas and doing the work to make them real are what we need in this world, people! Thanks also to SirGH, as always, and Mr. Scully. The tapers, I wish I could know their names to thank them. Now we have Seattle, Copenhagen, Earls Court and Glasgow 1977 both in rapidshare and mediafire, all in the same thread, with great info and well orginized, so, let's applaude Pittrek, SirGH, Vlatko! (Yara applauding them and shouting) Now the links: Part1: link Part2: link Part3: link Part4: link Part5: link Part6: link DO NOT...you know that, don't you? Because, IF YOU CONVERT TO, OR SHARE THESE FILES IN, MP3 OR ANY OTHER LOSSY FORMAT, YOU AIN'T NO FRIEND OF MINE. AIN'T NO FRIEND OF ME. AND FAILING TO BE A FRIEND OF MINE MAKES ONE A LOSER!!! Hahaha. A lossy loser! So, be my friend, be a winner, and, above all, as always, ENJOY! Don't listen to it alone. Call your girlfriend, your boyfriend, have some fun together, call your friends, well, avoid being alone too much! Love you all! |

pittrek 21.06.2008 06:15 |
Definitely at least the best guitar solo ever ! I once created a mix, with the intro from Hammersmith 75, the guitar solo from Seattle, continued by Hammersmith 79 and the ending also from Hammy 79, it was my personal "definitive" version of Brighton Rock live |
Sbardella 11.07.2008 07:55 |
