What do you think of these sigs?

Posted on 05.01.2004 21:03:14
Hello all,

I'm a new member and have been collecting Queen for a while now. It's nice to meet all of you!

What do you think of these sigs? I'm currently in the market for [real] autographs after being ripped off last year by a con artist.

Do you think these are genuine? I appreciate any input. Link:

The scan is too bad (dark). I'd say they are fake - the fact that the bidders are private (so nobody can warn them) speaks for itself.

John's signature looks pretty good to me and Roger's is good too. Brian's "Brian " still looks OK but "May" is bad and Freddie's sig doesn't look good either. Especially look at "y" in "Mercury" and "May" and compare them to genuine signatures, you will see the difference.

Thanks again!

The hidden bidder thing made me a bit weary as well. Too bad we can't warn the high bidder. I wonder why the seller puts forward a "lifetime guarantee," perhaps because he knows most people won't be able to tell the difference and take him up on it?

Thanks for the much needed second opinion!
