The Falcons - Roger pre-Queen band

Posted on 19.10.2006 19:12:07
Can someone remember drumer Ric Lee from Ten Years After ? His biography say that he found his first group called The Falcons and played there in short time. Roger also played in group with the same name on guitar and also on drums. Is this possible that this is the same band.
Rick maybe found that band and Roger played on guitar but when Rick leave the group then Roger started to play on drums instead of him ? I know that it was 60'ies and many groups had the same name but this theory is quite interestink, hmm ? I don't remember that possible fact in Hodkinson book.

Ric Lee was from the Cornwalls like Roger ?

Good question but I don't think so. His school was in Mansfield in Nottinghamshire :(
Ric was born 4 years before Roger, near Norfolk (where Roger born) . But Roger leave Norfolk and his school was in Cornwall. But maybe Roger join to this band when Ric leave that group and they never meet together ?
One fact is interestink: it was almost in the same time - about 1963. Isn't bit strange that the band's with same name exist in the same (probably) time and include 3 members :) ?
