12.03.1975 - Municipal Auditorium, Atlanta

Posted on 21.08.2006 12:33:49
I'm searching the internet for queen concerts in audio-file and I found the audio file from this concert: 12.03.1975 - Municipal Auditorium, Atlanta.
On this site there is no information about an audiorecording from this concert. Is there a reason for that?

Where did you see it ?

Queen really played in atlanta on this day.

Ok, in my opinion, there are two reasons for that.
first, the file you've seen is a fake, possible.
Second, it's a hidden recording who has surfaced recently, possible too. this why you didn't see it here.

Thanks for your reaction,

I found the file on:
http://elblogdequeen.blogspot.com/2006/07/conciertos-de-queen.html

I don't think it's a fake, I haven't listned to it although.

By the way, this is the setlist:

1 - Intro, Ogre battle
2 - Father to son
3 - White queen (as it began)
4 - Flick of the wrist
5 - In the lap of the gods
6 - Killer queen
7 - The march of the black queen
8 - Bring back that Leroy Brown
9 - Son and daughter
10 - Seven seas of Rhye
11 - Stone cold crazy
12 - Liar
13 - In the lap of the gods (revisited)

The quality isn't very good

ok, but I can't see if we can downlaod from this blog.

You just have to scroll down a bit on that site to get to the downloads. Under each photgraph of the bootleg you can find a rapidshare link where you can download the concert. Very easy.

The atlanta is most likely a fake, i think its Bristol '74

Why do you think so?
Because I think Freddie says something like "thank you ..... Atlanta" after Son and daughter. I don't know for sure because the quality is pretty poor, may be you can hear it better.

And at the end of Liar Brian says something like "very nice to meet you here in Atlanta".
Again, I'm not completely sure because of the poor quality.

red special - where You get that this info that "Freddie says something like "thank you ..... Atlanta" " and similiar words from Brian , hmmm ??? For that I remember well this gig come from other eraly gigs with pissy quality and it was confirmed by few people

Lurex,

I got that info, simply by listening to the recording. But because of the bad quality of the recording I'm not completely sure. But I'm pretty sure that it's one concert, but then again I'm not an expert.

So listen carefuly Bradford '74 and You will get probably the same stuff - anyway I and some other collectors deleted this 'position' from existed recordings.

Lurex,

I've listned to some numbers from Bradford '74 and you're right, it is the same concert. I can delete the concert like the other collectors. (After I have checked all the numbers off course).
Thanks for the help!
