Hi everyone, As I may've said before in other posts, I'm a fairly new Queen fan - always liked them, but its now I cant seem to get enough. Anyway, I was thinking that 2006 marks 20 years since the last Queen tour as a 'full group' do you think there will be any new releases from that tour? Say for example "Live At Budapest" released on DVD/CD in complete uncut form? Why is that sitting collecting dust for God sake? Also, and probably more importantly why hasn't the final show at Knebworth been released on CD in complete uncut form? 20 years later and still nothing except for a couple of CUT tracks from Live Magic, thats weird. You would think that Queens last ever concert would be released on CD considering it was indeed recorded. 2006 marks the 20th Anniversary of their last tour and Freddie's 60th Birthday; why not release the above (and more!) as a tribute to Queen, to Freddie and the fans who are so very loyal :)

Queen Productions have their own marketing strategy. If they think that releasing X earns them a lot of money, you will never persuade them to release Y. I can imagine that another Magic tour release (Knebworth 2CD) after Wembley, Budapest and Live Magic won't bring enough profit. That's why they release the Freddie Mercury Best Of CD this year instead.

it's about time that they released something from the 70s! jazz, NOTW, ADATR, ANATO, SHA, tours, anything from those on CD/DVD

a Freddie Mercury "Best Of"? wow, a compilation of stuff already currently available I'm guessing. I'd be happy to see anything 'new' released from any period. To think they went to all that trouble (and money) filming the Budapest gig, released a chopped up version near 20 years ago, and now in this DVD crazed world it just sits there crying to be released in its complete form. Surely an official DVD release of that will earn them enough cash. After all, isn't it the last ever 'filmed' gig? God, they released a "Queen" (and I use that term loosely) + Paul Rodgers DVD so I'm sure more REAL Queen DVDs will sell. The bonus footage of the Wembley show (the 1st show, camera run-through) is interesting. How about some more of that on DVD :P I'm clutching at straws I kno hahahahahaha!
