Magic Videos

Posted on 06.12.2003 20:54:06
Ok, let's go. If somebody have any ideas let's write
1. Some times ago in Queen Zone forum there was some of this but I don't find clearly answers. So exist or not:
Audience videos from Leiden 12.06.1986 and Barcelona 1.08.1986 - filmed by one camera.

2.Cologne 19.07.1986 filmed by Janos Zsombolyai on VHS - professionaly filmed or amateur camera; filmed by one or more cameras?
It will be nice to see Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting & when Brian played part of '39 on the Magic Tour...

3.On the cover "Rare Live" video there is writing something like that "also excerpts from Newcastle 9.7.1986"?! Propably it's not true information...

4. Not to this topic...but it's Magic Tour.
On the concert in Stockholm 1986 Freddie don't have a royal crown and purple coat. True?

5. And in the end. Uff...
Why only concert from Milton Keynes 1982 was showing on TV in more complete form? If all Europen Hot Space concerts was professionaly filmed why We did't see anything from that (except some songs from Vienna & Frankfurt in TV) In near future will be great to see some of that - at the begin, Stockholm 1982 will be great. Or made special DVDs box for fans "Europen Hot Space Tour"... :)
Mr May & Mr Taylor We waiting!

It's sad how the Seibu Lions Stadium video misses the rarest tracks: Action This Day, Body Language, Rock It and Calling All Girls

I mean, Love Of My Life is great, but you can see that one in tons of videos, same with Bo Rhap or Now I'm Here, then why didn't they edit out those usual songs instead of the ones that were only played in that tour or very scarcely is beyond me

Well I think that only exists amateur recording of Newcastle 86... since Rare Live rips-off with many information...
I would like to see a dvd release of Frankfurt 82, if you have "IF YOU DON'T WANNA HEAR IT, FUCKIN' GO HOME" cd, you can notice that was a great show, so it would be wonderful to have it released in dvd...

does anyone have any information of which live dvd will be released?

I think all that was recorded from the Frankfurt gig was put on Rare Live. I've also got a sneaking feeling that the recording was also the night before/after! If You Don't Wanna Hear It.... is probably one of my fav shows btw!

such a waste that having a whole european 82 tour filmed on video, QP is not willing to release any of these concerts..........

The "whole European 82 tour on video" thing comes from Peter Freestone. So far nobody else has confirmed it. So we can't guarantee the information is correct.

Let's hope it will be correct.

The whole 82' European tour cant have been recorded as Brian May has said that he wished the show at Leeds 29/5/82 had been recorded instead of Milton Keynes, because it was a much better show and atmosphere.
