Which concert (filmed) would you like to be released on dvd?

queen rox Posted on 24.04.2006 02:34:44
I would like Queen's concert from the Rainbow March 31st, 1974. C'mon, there has got to be a lot more footage from that show. Or anything earlier would be awesome.

Lurex Posted on 24.04.2006 08:33:36
To many thinks was sayed about this video. I personally think that this early video - and one other, nobody know from what place, date - exist probably in Granada TV. But I don't think so it wil be in single DVD.
Pray for God to release this - I mean whole video - like a bonus to Rainbow, November 1974 DVD - if they do this :)
Both video isn't so commercialy appeal like "legendary Wembley" or even Milton Keynes. But who knows ... ;)

if the live killers was one concert freddie was in rare form on those discs but i heard it was a collection of shows

hangman83 Posted on 04.06.2006 15:05:43
I'd be very interested in a 3-disc "Live Killers/Crazy Tour"-DVD Set(full Paris '79, full Hammersmith '79 + Bonusfootage from Tokyo, Munich, etc.). I think it would be just as awesome as Pink Floyd's PULSE DVD which will be released very soon.

Lurex Posted on 05.06.2006 08:07:33
Great idea but probably QP have different plans - but who knows !

~Pred. Posted on 26.06.2006 20:42:58
well, i would hate to have another compilation, we have no genuine concerts from the 70s, all we have is live killers and that is a compilation, it's about time we had a concert from the 70s released on DVD/CD, i'd love to see one of these:

London, UK 20.11.1974, Rainbow Theatre: Sheer Heart Attack Tour
London, UK 24.12.1975, Hammersmith Odeon: A Night At The Opera Tour
London, UK 06.06.1977, Earls Court: A Day At The Races Tour
Houston, USA 11.12.1977, The Summit: News Of The World
London, UK 26.12.1979, Hammersmith Odeon: Concert For The people Of Kampuchea
or something from the great Jazz tour.

~Pred i totally agree with you. Even though i'm only 18 i think Queen are the best band ever. It is a shame we havn't got anything from the 70s because to me that was when Queen where at there most influential and Freddie was at his most creative.

No-body was writing songs like Queen where during that decade. I would like to see personally a concert form the night of the opera and a day at the races tours because there are so many great songs from just those two albums alone, for example The Phrophets song and Tie Your Mother Down. They sound stunning live.

~Pred. Posted on 19.07.2006 19:56:38
well, queen123, i'm only 13, but im a bootlegger :)

i agree with you too, queen were at there prime live in the 70s, im sick of seeing the Magic Tour being allways overrated

queen123 Posted on 20.07.2006 16:23:47
ok then ~Pred. u win (being 13 and a bootlegger)

zildjian Posted on 13.01.2007 00:56:14

Prescott2811 Posted on 24.04.2007 11:52:54

Lurex Posted on 24.04.2007 20:08:08

n.j.s. Posted on 30.07.2007 12:11:13
sao paolo 1981 full restored concert its gotta be in the archive somewhere. Maybe Earls court 77 with restored bits of hyde park 76

Lurex Posted on 30.07.2007 16:31:58
I'm still wonder if some TV archive in Japan still have more stuff from concert in Tokyo 1.05.75 or 25.04.79. That videos will be awesome released full on dvd. Second for sure for quality - damn, it's so hot for '79 year - and first from '75 due to setlist. Both are just classic

Sao Paulo - well, superb gig but I think it will be hard to restore that video. For sure much, much, much better then Monteral shows months later.

But at know QP are bit commercial (sad release called Montreal '81, buuu) and for sure don't want to lookin for new stuff for next release on dvd (even London '79). Yes they also record new album but this is another storry. That's my word.

farrock_bulsara Posted on 14.08.2007 21:42:06

Actually, the Magic Tour was their biggest tour.I'd like to see the Earl's Court '77 performance and Hyde Park '76.I would also like to see the Budokan performance on DVD.

daniels Posted on 30.10.2008 22:37:18
Response To: ~Pred

Nothing Was Officialy Or Un-Officialy Recorded From The Jazz Tour Which Is A Real Shame.

Response To: dandy97

Earls Court '77 Cannot Be Released Because Of The Problem With Freddie's Microphone.
