Interesting stuff on Rock Line last night....

According to Roger, they are going to perform a "New" original Queen-Paul Rodgers song on the USA Tour.

The question was asked, "When this tour is over, are you guys going to want to go out and continue working on solo stuff", Brian and Rogers response was a resounding no, they really want to go into the studio and "See what this trio, can come up with". Of course Paul kept quiet on that question.--on a side note, Paul did say that he proberly more than Bri and Rog, was "surprised" at the response they have gotten on this tour, which made them agree to a USA/Canada tour. So with this info, a album or tour in the future isn't that far fetched...

And, another thing on this subject that I have been pondering...Queen was never Pink Floyd with Roger Waters or the Police with Sting...they always pretty much spread that wealth as far as song writing went...isn't there enough room on a album or tour for everybody to put there stamp on it. I mean since Freedie passed, couldn't Paul just fit into the space that Freedies passing created...for that matter, John is not even there so there should be even more room to wiggle.

Lastly, it was stated that Since Queen last toured the USA in 82, as far as the rest of the world was concerned they kept it going and were as great as ever, but there run in the USA wained. So look for them to play a few older songs here vs stuff off of the Works, Innuendo, etc. In other words, according to them, pretend that Queens last album was the Game...

I will be going to the Georiga show....a story will follow.
