How to get someone "into" Queen

Posted on 10.01.2006 01:37:20
Being a fan, alot of times, people ask me to burn them a hits cd. Depending on the nature of the request (Mobile DJ's get it immediately, they will be then playing Queen) I usually make a "Greatest Hits" CD. A Co-worker of my Wife's asked for such a collection and here is what she got:

1- Keep Yourself Alive 3:46
2- Killer Queen 3:01
3- Bohemian Rhapsody 5:52
4- Youre My Best Friend 2:50
5- Somebody To Love 4:56
6- We Will Rock You/
We Are The Champions 5:01
7- Fat Bottomed Girls 3:21
8- Crazy Little Thing Called Love 2:46
9- Play The Game 3:31
10- Another One Bites The Dust 3:39
11- Flash 2:48
12- Under Pressure (W/ David Bowie) 4:03
13- Put Out The Fire 3:19
14- Radio Ga Ga 4:28
15- Hammer To Fall 3:39
16- Princes Of The Universe 3:31
17- I Want It All 4:33
18- These Are The Days Of Our Lives 4:15
19- The Show Must Go On 4:32
20- Heaven For Everyone 4:43

Did I do good by the name of Queen? Several songs got axed due to time, thats also why there are alot of edits on here. Some of the axed were: Good old fashioned loverboy, You Dont Fool Me, Liar, Seven Seas Of Rhye, Bicycle Race & Body Language.

What would you guys have put on there?

Oh, BTW, before i am asked (cause alot of people look for it) The Radio Ga Ga edit is homemade, Exactly as the 45 had it, but homemade due to it not being available on CD.

Queen is an aquired taste their music is NOT like anything else that is heard on the radio it is so complicated that you must listen to the inner parts of their songs and not just the songs itself the backround vocals and little instrument plugs are the best
