| Never buy or sell Bootlegs, it's illegal. So You can get bootlegs CD or DVD by swap or trade. You need e fex of them for starting, that is the difficulty. Or you can go to the Queen Hub to get some bootlegs by downloading here is the mail : www.thequeenhub.tk |

| Autographs - just be careful, 95% of Queen autographs for sale are fake. CD's, DVD's - if you mean unreleased stuff, you can either (1.) buy them from collectors, (2.) trade them or (3.) download them. All three options are illegal in some point so it's purely up to you what way you choose :-) Before anybody asks: yes, I did sell bootlegs in the past, no, I don't sell them anymore. |

| What do you mean by "real one" ? There's no official bootleg, it doesn't exist. I told you, the mainly way to get bootlegs for you it's to download them from Queenzone.com or from the hub (get the mail up in this topic) but from the hub you need to have some stuff to trade before starting download. |
| Posted on 23.10.2005 14:40:52 | |
| There is some sort of official bootleg over on the Queen Download shop... |

| So the link I gave you those cds/dvds are not legal to sell?arent they live cds and dvds though.IM not asking for an actual live recording that happened in 1977 I mean thats asking for way too much I wouldnt even know who to start with....Marry Austin?Hmm Maybe I can get her to hook me up |
| Posted on 23.10.2005 16:36:48 | |
| do u think these are fake http://www.autograph-central.com/albmptoz.htm they also have pictures they claim everything is actually sigend by artist |
| Posted on 23.10.2005 18:05:50 | |
| Ask this webmaster from this your site about some pics of this stuff. Never buy if do don't know how it's look. Even If they are will be ok do You have a money to buy it ;) ? |
| Posted on 23.10.2005 22:02:51 | |
| yeah i have the money and I asked them to sen dme pictures of all items and they all seem real |
| Posted on 24.10.2005 08:31:50 | |
| Unofficial live CD's and DVD's are illegal. www.queencollector.com is a big dealer of illegal stuff and I'm surprised police isn't at his home yet. Which is pretty unfair, considering that house of one of the most honest Queen collectors that I know was raided by police recently and they took his whole bootleg collection... :-( autograph-central.com - ask for images before you buy anything! |
| Posted on 24.10.2005 18:28:07 | |
| I dont understand why its illegall it was recorded and sold.... |
| Posted on 25.10.2005 02:42:18 | |
| I'm assuming any sale of Queen Items that are not officially liscenced by Queen LTD. or Queen productions, or whatever, would be considered illegall. Gotta be careful of the Gestapo err...I mean FBI. |
| Posted on 25.10.2005 16:16:44 | |
| That makes no sense,I can go to any concert and record it on hig quality stuff and sell it...If it was illegal they would say no cameras and recordings no?And trust me I am sure whatever QUEEN sells they get a piece of it. |
| Posted on 25.10.2005 20:36:33 | |
| If you get caught you will get thrown out of the venue and even be banned from going there again. Your just lucky that security has been lax. You should have met Peter Grant. So the Queen stuff you sold, Queen got a piece of that did they? I don't think so. Recording gigs against the will of the artist and venue owners is against the law, it may not make any sense to you, but the law is the law. You can try your luck if you want, but one day you may get caught out. |

| michael - I don't know how many rock concerts you attended but it ALWAYS says "no video or audio equipment allowed". You are NOT allowed to take photos or record audio or video simply because it's protected by copyright!!! |
| Posted on 02.11.2005 03:42:13 | |
| so your saying you wouldnt buy anything form that site? i mean this one http://www.queencollector.com/ |
| Posted on 02.11.2005 09:24:25 | |
| I wouldn't because (1.) his prices are too high and (2.) he's a dealer, not a fan, I don't like him. These are my two reasons. |

| I do agree with Mr.Scully...I think I have dealt with Queencollector.com before. One question I do have is many people out there (including me) have loved Queen for a long time and have just recently discovered the large quantity of shows outside of official release. What would the "more knowlegable" Queen collectors recomend to get started?...Some have recommended I download a few shows and then trade them...but if they are up for download than why would any other collector trade his shows for something that I am sure he could access for free? Do you recommend other dealers who sell for cheaper? It can be frustrating...especially for somebody like me (in crap-hole Iowa U.S.A.) where there isn't a large following of Queen since the early 80's. I have my share of shows now believe me...but I wouldn't dare try to trade with anybody unless I had a rare show that I bought from one of those sites...how do we get started? Maybe it's an obvious awnser but whatever. On a lighter note, one on the torrent sites I frequent there was a post by a guy who uploaded Queen's greatest hits for what he said, "was for two friends"...and within a week there has been over 100,000 downloads. LOL, long live Queen! |

| Difficult question... First you should download everything that's available (QueenZone torrents - must be 100 recordings or so). If you want to collect more, try to get something interesting that you could exchange with me :) A rare 1973 ticket stub or something like that :) In exchange for it you can get from me one or more "rarer" shows and you can trade those with other collectors. When I started collecting, there were no downloads :-) And still I managed to get all this without having to pay much. Just lots of searching, lots of going to post office :) etc. |

| ok you dont like him but he does have a loy of dvds for sale....and thye seem to be in great shape |
| Posted on 07.11.2005 08:47:55 | |
| I'm just saying that if you are interested only in the content (music/video), you can usually buy it somewhere else, for better prices. Most collectors sell and nobody is more expensive than QueenCollector.com |
| Posted on 10.11.2005 18:15:22 | |
| ok so help me out, tell me where to buy the same stuff he has for cheaper! |

| Hi Michael, some time ago I found out that there are lots of (bootleg) Queen live concerts available on DVD besides the official stuff such as Wembley, Montreal and Milton Keynes. Then, I decided to buy them all just like you and I had exactly the same questions as you have now (I also asked the experts for help on this forum =P).... Now, I have quite a collection of Queen live concert DVDs (even Houston '77 =D). Some are home made DVDs and some are factory pressed and look like genuine DVDs (mostly made in Japan). As far as I know there are two sites where you can buy a lot of them ( http://www.queencollector.com and http://www.queenmagicvision.cjb.net ). Last mentioned is not online at the moment. BUT, I didn'y buy any DVDs from these sites, I bought all my DVDs on eBay, one by one. If you have a little patience you'll find all the DVDs you want there. I must say I even have more than one version of some concerts (Earls Court, Hammersmith, Kampuchea....) and the quality is really different sometimes!! If you have any questions, please ask.... many concerts are really worth having!! |

| ok I buy a lot5 on ebay also but whats the differnece between ebay or queencollectors? |

| Okay a story about a bootlegger (I think most of you know this already). Everybody knows that a part of the Uniondale show was filmed back in 1977. This guy also filmed the complete New York 1977 gig at Madison Square Garden, but he was caught by the security. I heard he sat on the front row and had a perfect view of the band (I heard the quality was great). He was taken backstage and Freddie asked what the guy was doing there. The security guard explained everything and Freddie wanted to have the tape. So, the tape is still somewhere in Garden Lodge, or he had destroyed it or Mary Austin has the recording. But the bootlegger had some film left and went to the Uniondale show to make the film complete, he filmed it with a 8mm camera and the sound is a little blurry, because film with sound wasn't of the greatest quality in those days. But this just an example that filming or taping a concert is forbidden. |

| I don't know exactly Michael, I only know that the DVDs you can buy @ queencollector.com are more expensive than most of the eBay stuff. However, the artwork @ queencollector.com looks fantastic I must say.... but I care more about the quality of the video/audio !!! Since I never bought from queencollector.com I don't know if the quality of the DVDs is good, if the DVDs have direct song selection, an interactive menu, labeled disks et cetera... you'll have to ask the site owner him/herself or somebody who bought something from queencollector.com in the past. |
