I noticed that some Internet Explorers (especially 5.0 without SP3) crash because of the menu. So I had to make two menus: the old one for Netscape and old Explorers (5.00, 5.01) and a new pull-down menu for other users.

I have IE 5.00.3502.1000 SP3 and the new pull-down menu works fine now.

Leo has IE 5.00.3103.1000 SP1 and the menu totally crashes. I guess it's impossible for the site to recognize the visitor's service pack so I'm afraid all users with IE 5.0x will have to do with the "old" menu.

I've been trying to get this example to work on my page for years : http://www.webmasterbase.com/examples/dhtmlpopup.html It has the browsers it is compatible with on the page. I could get it sort of to work, but not properly how I wanted, so I gave up a while ago. I should have another go at it really as going through loads of sub-menus on different pages is a pain. But I'm sure you can get it to work for your site, Martin.

Thanks Dave, I'll have a look, maybe this one is more compatible.
