Queen in Peterborough, UK on 17.08.1973 (written by Michael Moorhouse)

I was 35 at the time of the gig. The night out was organised by work collegues from RAF. The venue was not that big as I recall... with seating places... theater stage type. I remembers lots of amplifiersm, very contrasting lighting, costumes were black and white as I can remember. The frontman was walking across the stage with the microphone on the stand... Good response from the audience as I recall. The concert was 60 to 90 minutes long. I thought they were good enough to play in a larger venue and could go a long way...

This is my vague memory of the concert and if anyone could confirm or add information about the venue it would be gratefully received.

With thanks to a younger Queen fan for greater knowledge about Queen on the internet...
