I attended the Queen concert at the München Olympiahalle in 1980. I was 11 years old at the time, visiting Munich with my parents and bored out of my skull. My father (because he felt a bit sorry for me) decided to take me out to a concert. We showed up at the venue right before the concert started and got tickets from the window. Unfortunately they were for seats behind the stage! (in retrospect, we were lucky to have gotten them at all). Being a cute little 11 year-old allowed me to sneak around though so I found a spot pretty easily.
I remember the show featuring their rockish stuff primarily which I enjoyed. Freddie played John Lennon's "Imagine" on the piano. Other than that I am not certain about some of the songs I remember them playing. I definitely remember "Bohemian Rhapsody" and the at-the-time ubiquitous "Another One Bites The Dust".
Although I barely remember it, I still rank this show as one of my all time fave concerts ever. Freddie & Co. were real entertainers and were utterly without the pretentiousness you see all too often these days.
Btw., there was an opening act, they were really mediocre though. I think their name was "Crazy Eights" or "Straight Shooters" or something like that. Besides of this concert, I never heard of them again.
