Bits and pieces
Robb Huxley of the Jericho remembers the night well. They had two albums out on A&M by early 1972 and played major UK Tours with both Mungo Jerry and Gary Wrights Wonderwheel (Gary Wright ex Spooky Tooth). Queen still had no album out. Gig went from circa 7:30 PM until around midnight... just two bands on the bill. Jericho played for over 90mins apparently. Robb also adds: 'Brian May had a little amp and we had our Marshal stacks. We could tell that they would be big. They had a great sound. I think they may have gotten their record contract that night.'
